NORTH MIAMI, FL (July 1, 2025)
The City of North Miami invites the community to the annual Independence Day Celebration by the Bay. This highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, July 4, behind Florida International University's (FIU) Roz and Cal Kovens Conference Center, located at 3000 NE 151st Street, North Miami, FL 33181.
This free event is open to all ages and offers a festive atmosphere filled with food trucks, a kid zone, and live entertainment. Gates open at 6 p.m., and free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The night will culminate in a vibrant firework display over Biscayne Bay, scheduled to begin promptly at 9 p.m. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come early, get comfortable, and enjoy the show. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
In addition to the festivities, several City departments will be on-site to provide helpful information and services to the community. Residents will have the chance to connect directly with representatives from departments. Staff will be available to share resources, community programs, youth and senior services, and more.
Please note that personal fireworks, weapons, large bags, coolers, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. This event will take place rain or shine.
