North Miami opens college scholarship application process

North Miami Educational Foundation (NMEFI) is seeking local applicants for its annual scholarship award of up to $4000 for post-secondary education. The scholarships are awarded to eligible North Miami high school graduates for up to four years of full-time college undergraduate studies. Applicants must be a resident of the City of North Miami; earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA; demonstrate a financial need; and provide an acceptance letter to a college undergraduate degree program full time. NMEFI was established in 2012 to help make higher education a reality for North Miami students. Since 2014, the NMEFI has awarded $327,500 to 124 students. The application deadline for the NMEFI scholarship is Friday, April 28, 2023, by 5:00 PM.
