The City of North Miami community is pleased to welcome and congratulate Chief Cherise Gause on being appointed as the new Chief of Police. Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed.D., expressed utmost confidence in the capabilities of Chief Gause and anticipates a safer and more secure future for the city under her distinguished leadership.
With a 30-year career in law enforcement, Chief Gause brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving Miami-Dade County and upholding the values of integrity, fairness, and justice. Chief Gause ability to inspire and lead her team is unparalleled, and we are confident that under her guidance, our police department will continue to be a shining example for other law enforcement agencies.
