Early this morning, the country of Haiti was struck by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. It is an untimely natural disaster as the country continues to face ongoing turmoil.
“Our hearts are with the country of Haiti today. We are sending our prayers and condolences to the Haitian people who have been affected by the earthquake. We know this is another devasting tragedy that will undoubtedly displace many families and disrupt local communities. The City of North Miami stands in solidarity with Haiti. In the coming days, we will assess how to best support the country’s relief efforts” stated City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq.
