The City of North Miami is thrilled to announce the next installment of 'The Mayor’s Conversation Series,' featuring the iconic Miami-based recording artist, Trina. This event takes place Thursday, Feb. 22nd, at 11 a.m., at North Miami’s Scott Galvin Community Center. The conversation will be expertly moderated by North Miami’s Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed. D.
As we celebrate the 50th year of Hip-Hop and its profound impact on culture, 'The Mayor’s Conversation Series' continues to bring together influential voices to discuss relevant topics shaping our society. Trina, renowned for her contributions to the Hip-Hop industry, will share her insights, experiences and perspectives on the evolution of the genre and its cultural significance.
Trina's career spans over two decades, during which she has garnered critical acclaim and widespread recognition for her dynamic performances and groundbreaking music. From her early collaborations with legendary artists, to her solo success as the "Diamond Princess," Trina has cemented her legacy as one of Hip-Hop's most influential figures.
As moderator, Desulme will weave his passion for Hip-Hop culture to facilitate into an enriching discussion. As an advocate for arts and culture in North Miami, Desulme recognizes the importance of celebrating the contributions of artists like Trina and their impact on our communities.
