[ARCHIVED] North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed. D., to Participate in National Mayors Summit on Antisemitism

NORTH MIAMI, FL (December 2, 2025)

North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed. D., will participate in the Combat Antisemitism Movement’s (CAM) Mayors Summit, a national gathering of municipal leaders committed to addressing the rise of antisemitism in the United States. The summit will bring together mayors from cities across the country to exchange strategies, strengthen local prevention initiatives, and foster partnerships that promote safety, unity, and resilient communities, reinforcing the importance of community safety for all.

In addition to his participation, Mayor Desulme will be recognized for his leadership and dedication to combating hate and building inclusive communities. This recognition aims to inspire local leaders and stakeholders by showcasing his proactive efforts to lead with courage, conviction, and collaboration. According to CAM, only two other U.S. mayors have received this honor to date, placing Mayor Desulme among a very select group of municipal leaders nationally.

“As the Mayor of the City of North Miami, I am committed to standing against antisemitism and all forms of hate,” said Mayor Desulme. “This summit is an important opportunity to learn from and collaborate with mayors across the nation to ensure our communities remain safe, inclusive, and united.”

The Combat Antisemitism Movement’s Mayors Summit underscores the crucial role local leaders play in promoting tolerance, protecting civil rights, and strengthening community resilience against acts of hate. This highlights the vital impact of regional efforts and encourages stakeholders to actively participate in fostering inclusive environments.
