As part of ICLEI USA’s leadership, they will play a key role in ensuring the organization continues to provide the tools, resources, and guidance that support communities across the country to create a more sustainable future.

“We're thrilled to welcome these passionate leaders to ICLEI USA's Board,” said Saharnaz Mirzazad, Executive Director of ICLEI USA. “Their hands-on experience and dedication to sustainability will be invaluable as we work alongside our members to achieve their environmental goals and build resilient communities.”

“I’m excited to join the ICLEI USA Board and bring North Miami’s commitment to sustainability to a national platform. Local governments are on the front lines of climate action, and by working together, we can build greener, stronger communities for future generations,” said Desulme.

Desulme's extensive experience in championing environmental initiatives in North Miami makes him a valuable addition to ICLEI USA's Board of Directors.
