The NoMi Food PantryThe NoMi Food Pantry offers residents in need a variety of essential items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy, and shelf-stable products.

Two vital food distributions are held bi-monthly, providing both nutritious perishable and non-perishable items.* 

To apply for pantry services, appointments can be made by calling 305-895-9896 or 305-893-6511, Extensions 20013 or 20000, online at NoMi Food Pantry Resident Registration Form, nomicares.org, or in person at the Pantry or Housing and Social Services (HSS) office during regular business hours. Proof of North Miami residency is required (e.g., ID and utility bill). 

NoMi Food Pantry also provides the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). TEFAP is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of people with low income by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. USDA provides 100% American-grown USDA Foods and administrative funds to states to operate TEFAP.

Currently providing TEFAP for the first 150 households during distributions (once or twice monthly when TEFAP is available). Only one registration per household, and the recipient must be present during pick-up. 

Please note that only one registration per household is allowed. Item quantities may be limited based on household size and availability. For TEFAP, there is only one per household and the recipient must be present.
