“Celebration of Leadership: Honoring Councilman Scott Galvin” Superhero Themed Event to Mark 25 Years of Service

The City of North Miami, in partnership with the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce a special event: The Celebration of Leadership honoring Councilman Scott Galvin, North Miami's very own "SUPER Leader," on Sunday, September 29, 2024. This exciting event will commemorate the remarkable 25 years of service by Councilman Galvin, a pillar in the North Miami community, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on our City.
The event will take place at the Scott Galvin Community Center, 1600 NE 126th Street, North Miami, FL 33181, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the schedule as follows:
- 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Special Celebration
- 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Superhero-Themed Honor Ceremony
When asked about the upcoming event, North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme, Ed. D., stated, "Councilman Galvin has been a steadfast advocate for the people of North Miami. His tireless contributions that span over the last 25 years will impact the generations to come. This celebration highlights his leadership, dedication, and passion for the North Miami community."
In a fun twist, attendees are encouraged to bring out their inner superheroes by wearing superhero costumes in honor of Councilman Galvin's unwavering leadership and commitment to the City. This is a family-friendly event, and superhero costumes are highly welcomed!
