The City of North Miami invites the community to honor our nation’s veterans at the first ever Veteran’s Day Breakfast, on Monday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m., at the Scott Galvin Community Center, located at 1600 NE 126th Street, North Miami, FL 33181.
The morning’s program will feature a complimentary breakfast, a recognition ceremony for veterans, and an interactive U.S. military trivia with raffle prizes. Attendees will also enjoy a video montage showcasing veterans’ photos and stories, as well as a moment of silence in memory of fallen service members.
Guest speakers include Israel Montanez, a veteran outreach program specialist with the Miami Vet Center; Cheryl Donalson, a success coach with Florida International University’s Veteran & Military Affairs; and Alex Cruz, a local veterans’ employment representative with CareerSource South Florida.
Admission is free; but space is limited. To partake in this tribute, please RSVP.
