The petition shall be filed with the City Clerk no later than the forty-fifth day preceding the next City election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Signatures needed to qualify by petition:
In 2024, we had a total of 31,553 registered voters.
The required number of petitions needed to qualify to run for:
- Mayor and City Clerk – 946.59 or 947
- District 1 – 3% of 7,218 - 216.54 or 217
- District 2 – 3% of 6,869 - 206.07 or 207
- District 3 – 3% of 7,434 - 223.02 or 224
- District 4 – 3% of 10,032 - 300.96 or 301
