Mission Statement

The mission of the city of North Miami is to enhance the quality of life, environment, and safety for citizens, businesses, customers, visitors and employees in an atmosphere of courtesy, integrity, quality and fiscally responsible service.

Council-Manager Government

The City of North Miami operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and North Miami City Council.


The City Manager oversees the daily operations of the city and ensures that the policies, directives, resolutions, and ordinances adopted by the City Council are implemented and enforced.
