The City of North Miami is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy community by properly managing biological waste, including dead animals and birds. Our team responds to reports of deceased wildlife located on public rights-of-way, parks, and other City-owned properties to ensure timely removal and prevent potential health or environmental concerns.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to protect public health, promote environmental safety, and preserve the cleanliness of our community by responsibly handling and disposing of biological waste found on City property.
Aggressive dogs are investigated by our officers and referred to the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department.
