Community Planning and Development Division
The Office of Land Use Services provides professional expertise, policy guidance, and administrative support on all planning, zoning and sustainability issues for North Miami. This includes land use planning, zoning and sustainability review of public and private projects, annexations, developing and implementing plans, regulations, policies and programs designed to guide the physical design and development of North Miami, materialize the goals of the Resilient NoMi initiative and much more. These services are provided consistent with the requirements of the City's adopted policies, ordinances, and standards, Miami-Dade County regulations and state law.
Mission
Our mission is to guide future growth and development through effective planning and zoning, preserve resources for future generations, encourage fiscal resilience and address the needs and concerns of our citizens while ensuring their quality of life.
