The City of North Miami (City) remains committed to the advancement and successful completion of the new City Hall project. This exciting project will deliver a modern civic center for government operations and for the entire North Miami community. As planned, the procurement process will utilize an innovative model to help complete this important project faster and secure the upkeep of the building for the future. This approach to bringing a new City Hall to reality requires support from the full community and a transparent dialogue to make sure that all residents understand the process. To ensure that this communication happens, the project team will be developing and implementing a community outreach plan over the next few months. As a result, the release of the formal Request for Proposals (RFP) will be delayed accordingly and the dates published in the current draft of the RFP will not apply. The City will be providing an update in the near future with specific dates.
In addition, the City is also extending the opportunity for interested parties to submit questions and/or requests for appointments to discuss the proposed project. Questions must be submitted to the Purchasing Department at and reference RFP No. 42-21-22 in the subject heading and requests for appointments should be submitted to Mr. John Lorfils, Economic Development Director, via email at .
Lastly, please know that as stated above the City and its leaders remain firmly committed to this project and view this public engagement phase to be an important step towards achieving that goal.
