Today, Miami-Dade County issued an Emergency Order requiring the closure of all non-essential businesses, which impacts the North Miami community.
As of 9:00 p.m. tonight, hundreds of North Miami businesses will be directly affected by this mandate. While these circumstances are unfortunate in nature, lives will be saved as a result.
The health and well-being of our North Miami community is the top priority of all members of the North Miami City Council – and the driving force behind the City’s enforcement of the Miami-Dade County mandate to cease certain business operations.
Let’s continue to work together to keep our community safe. As recommended by trusted health authorities across the globe, let’s continue to practice social distancing,” which requires a separation of at least 6-feet between two or more individuals within close quarters.
