Girls Mentorship Empowerment and College Readiness Program
The I AM Y.O.V.E. Program has a lifelong positive impact and inspires the Y.O.V.E. girls who take part in the program throughout their high school years.
The I AM Y.O.V.E. Program provides:
- Emotional Support/performances thru Dance/Poetry/Singing Counseling. Mental Wellness education
- Homework Assistance. Financial Literacy. Employment Readiness.
- Leadership Skills. Career Guidance Education
- College/University ReadinessjTour
- Y.O.V.E. Dress for EmpowermentjYOVE Girls receive garments
- Shop with major retails in collaboration with the Police Athletic League (PALSJ
- Volunteerism/Civic Engagement -Nutrition/ Reproductive Health
- Environment And Global
- Attend Fieldtrips/Casual and Formal Events
- Volunteers to receive Community Service Hours
The YOVE Program changes the direction of girls' lives and prepares them for a distinguished career in life.
Pick up your application every Tuesday at 2:45 PM from the Y.O.V.E. Program at the North Miami Public Library.
Girls from 9-12 grades attending public schools are eligible to join the YOVE Program.
