Tree Request

Street Tree

In an effort to expand Miami-Dade County’s tree canopy by leveraging local resources, Neat Streets Miami has awarded the City of North Miami matching grants to advance the Million Trees Miami initiative, a community-wide effort to achieve a 30 percent tree canopy for Miami-Dade County. With this grant we plant about 100-200 street trees annually.

Let us know if you would like to be on the list to have one planted in front of your home! Up to two trees per request.

Tree Giveaway

In an effort to mitigate flooding and increase our tree canopy we have over 600+ one gallon pine and cypress trees to be planted around the city. These trees are native to the South Florida region and in addition to the already established benefits of trees they also provide habitat to rare and endangered species while absorbing up to 8000 gallons of flood water per year.

Let us know if you would like to be added to the list to have some planted in your yard! Up to five trees each per request.
