Why remove invasive plants?
Invasive plants out-compete native plants for nutrients, light and moisture, thus degrading wildlife habitat and changing soil hydrology. This displaces critical food chain components, especially for invertebrates in marshy areas.
A waiver must be signed to participate. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by and adult. To learn more, contact Special Events Supervisor, Kendra Warren at email@example.com.
