Virtual Services
Education and public programming has been pivoted to a virtual platform, including: Conversations at MOCA, Summer Camp, Teen Art Force, etc.

Free art supply packs for camp are available for pick-up at the museum during specific hours, through a contact-less exchange.

MOCA launched a new page on its website MOCA FROM HOME with new content. Content is added on a weekly basis and includes access to exhibitions, virtual reality gallery experiences, and publications, as well as free art-at-home instruction for youth.

All playgrounds, basketball courts, indoor facilities and no pools are closed. All rentals have been canceled until further notice. 

All park patrons must follow the current CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines regarding the use of face coverings, maintaining 6 feet of social distancing between individuals and avoiding gatherings of more than 10 people in a group.
North Miami Parks & Recreation employees may limit the number of persons using the parks and amenities to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Parks staff, rovers, and the North Miami Police Department will ensure compliance with the listed rules and social distancing guidelines and mange park capacities as necessary.

Note: The ability of the North Miami Police Department’s sworn and non-sworn personnel to receive and respond to phone calls and emails is not affected. Minimum staffing requirements have been maintained, which allows NMPD staff to respond to and address all calls for service appropriately. Scheduling adjustments have been made for non-sworn personnel, allowing them to work remotely, while in most cases, maintaining usual customer service response times.

Operational Adjustments
In order to maintain public safety, while protecting law enforcement officers and citizens from the potential spread of COVID-19, our Police Department has started handling certain calls for service via telephone. This applies in incidents or situations that do not require the physical presence of a police officer (no immediate threat to property or persons).

Residents, may continue reporting suspicious incidents, provide crime stopper tips, request public records and report NMPD employee misconduct via phone or our website.
