    The City of North Miami received a distribution of $172,500.00 in Coronavirus Relief Funds from Florida Housing Finance Corporation. The Mayor and City Council has approved the use of this funding to assist residents impacted by the coronavirus health crisis, have experienced unemployment or under employments and are behind in their payments.

    The City of North Miami is offering rent assistance in the form of a grant with no repayment requirement for 2 months, up to $3,000 to all North Miami residents experiencing hardship and loss of income due to COVID-19.

    Now operated by the City of North Miami, the NoMi Food Pantry provides fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy and shelf-stable items in addition to health and beauty items such as diapers and personal hygiene items.

  • Water Utility Bill Assistance

    The City of North Miami’s Utility Billing Division is offering relief to residents in regards to the water component of their utility bill. The Mayor and City Council has authorized the appropriation of $250,000 to the North Miami Low Income Home Utility Bills Assistance Foundation, Inc. in order to help low-income or Coronavirus/COVID-19 affected resident customers to pay their City water bills.
