Council At-Large

A resident of North Miami since the early 1980s, Marcia Missick imagines her future contributing to the city that has given so much to her.

She is a graduate of St. Thomas University, earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the local university. She retired from a life of public service, first as a social worker with Miami-Dade County, followed by 25 years as a middle and high school guidance counselor.

Her twins attended school and summer camp programs in North Miami, as well as served as Leaders in Training, until they left to attend college.

“I look forward to serving the community in the capacity as a CIB Board member and will be fully engaged and eager to make our city the best it can be,” she said.
