WHO DO I CALL AFTER HOURS FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE?
The Public Works Utility Operation Center hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30 am till 4:00 pm, 305.895.9838.
In case of a water or sewer emergency after hours or on the weekends we can be dispatched at any time by calling the Winson Water Plant at (305) 953- 2854

IF I NEED TO KNOW THE LOCATION OF MY WATER SERVICE OR SEWER LATERAL, WHO DO I CALL?
Call the Public Works Utility Operation Center at 305.895.9838 to set an appointment for a location at the property.

WHAT IS BACKFLOW PREVENTION?
The reversed flow of a non-potable source into a potable system, because a pressure differential exists where the pressure on the non-potable side is greater then the pressure on the potable side. There are two (2) different types of backflow, backsiphonage and backpressure.

WHAT IS A CROSS-CONNECTION?
Any arrangements of pipes, fittings, fixtures, or devices that directly or indirectly connects a non-potable water system.

IF MY BACKFLOW DEVICE IS LEAKING OR DAMAGE, WHO DO I CALL?
Anytime a backflow device has a problem contact the Utility Operation Center, because all backflow devices belong to the City of North Miami after it initial test and accepted by our ordinance.
