Works - Donald Smathers
I began my career with the City in 1977 as a Refuse Collector. I developed
my career over the past 25 years with determination and a strong work
ethic. I was promoted from a Refuse Collector to a Heavy Equipment
Operator, Then I became the Sanitation Supervisor and finally Superintendent.With a staff of forty (40) employees, I am responsible for all Garbage, Trash and Recycling programs. I also oversee Animal Control and the enforcement of all private Sanitation Companies operation in the City of North Miami. As a member of the " Keep American Beautiful Program," I am proud to serve this Community and do my part to keep it clean. Donald Smathers, Sanitation Superintendent
