Maintenance
We provide facility maintenance and housekeeping services to eight
(8) City buildings with seven (7) full time employees.
A contractual janitorial service assists in order to ensure that residents
and employees have an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment.
Facility Maintenance & Operation: Perform maintenance and
repairs for eight (8) City buildings: City Hall,
the Motor Pool, the Water & Sewer Operation Center, the Building
& Zoning Annex, the Community Planning & Development Annex,
the C.A.R.E. Annex, Water & Sewer Operations Division and the Library.
Provide technical advice and support regarding the maintenance of
the Police Station and MoCA building, Services performed include painting,
carpentry work, building alterations, furniture restoration, minor
electrical and plumbing repairs, ceiling repairs, as well as interior
and exterior building maintenance.
Custodian Services: Provide daily housekeeping services
at eight (8) facilities: City Hall, the Motor Pool , the Water &
Sewer Operations Center, the Building & Zoning Annex, the C.A.R.E.
Annex, the CP&D Annex, the Library and the Munisport trailer.
A custodian is present at City Hall during the evening hours to
oversee the contractual janitorial service and provide additional
services above the scope of the contract.
ADA Requested Funding: ADA Provides for the implementation
of the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan ; for providing
reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and for
annual updates to ADA Compliance Manual.
