Dear North Miami Homeowner,
On behalf of the entire Code Enforcement Department, I would like to say thank you for your interest in the rules and regulations set forth by the great City of North Miami. Our department is here to educate, inform and guide you to properly "know the code." The Code Enforcement Department has many responsibilities to keep the city looking its best and to continue flourishing as the beautiful, resident friendly city it has always been. Eleven Code Enforcement officers patrol the city seven days a week and the department performs weekly "sweeps" in neighborhoods across our city to crack down on violations.

Our major responsibilities include: Enforcing Property and Building Maintenance and Enforcing the Zoning Code. In addition to depending on our hard working code enforcement team, we look to you, the concerned homeowner, to keep us aware of any violations you see and we understand that knowing the code in its entirety is impossible, so we encourage you click here and read the code for yourself.
