The city of North Miami is proud to offer the Afterschool Meal Program, a component of the Child Care Food Program at its afterschool programs. Snacks are now available to children for no additional charge at the city’s two Afterschool Care and Tutoring Program locations: Sunkist Grove Community Center, 12500 NW 13 AVE and Griffing Community Center, 12220 Griffing BLVD.

The program provides reimbursement for nutritious meals and snacks served at eligible after school program sites. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is administered in Florida by the Health Department, Bureau of Child Care Food Programs whose vision is: To be the Healthiest State in the Nation!
