VICE MAYOR STERIL TO SPEAK ON THE STATE OF NORTH MIAMI'S DISTRICT 4 ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, 2013

North Miami, FL – 3/15/2013

Since being elected to represent North Miami’s District 4 in 2005, Vice Mayor Marie Erlande Steril, MSW has worked hard to support improvements to district. On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 6 p.m., Vice Mayor Steril will deliver her first State of District 4 Address, highlighting the accomplishments and her commitment to progress. The event will be held at the Joe Celestin Center, 1525 NW 135 Street, (located in the western portion of Claude Pepper Park). Following the address, there will be a formal dedication of the City’s first commissioned artwork for North Miami’s Art in Public Places Program, the I Dream to See   mural, by Addonis Parker.

District 4 encompasses the western part of North Miami, from NE 2 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue and is mostly residential, but is also home to a large commercial corridor along NW 7 Avenue, which runs parallel to I-95.

The event is open to the public and a reception will follow. Please RSVP to the North Miami Office of the Mayor and Council at 305-895-9815 or 305-895-9818.
