Are you interested in learning a trade in the construction industry?  Take a step towards a new career path by visiting the Construction Training Fair on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 hosted by the City of North Miami and the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools Adult and Career Technical Education Division, Oleta Partners, LLC and South Florida Work Force (SFWF).  The fair will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joe Celestin Center, located at 1525 NW 135 Street (on the West side of Pepper Park), in North Miami.

As part of an ongoing initiative to put North Miami residents back to work, this career resource fair will provide residents with information and access to training in the construction trades. Learn about training programs available in areas such as air conditioning, sheet rock, roofing, masonry, block laying, plumbing, electrical, brick laying, tile setting and many more. Participating schools are Turner Technical School, D.A. Dorsey Education Center, Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center, and Miami Lakes Education Center.
