North Miami’s Mayor Philippe Bien-Aime, Vice Mayor Carol Keys, Esq., Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin and Elected City Clerk Vanessa Joseph, Esq., in collaboration with the Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) will host a Citizenship Drive and Information Session to help North Miami residents seeking United States citizenship navigate the naturalization process. This free event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Miami Public Library.   

Also at the North Miami Public Library, on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6 - 8 p.m., FLIC will host a pre-event information session in preparation for Saturday’s Citizenship Drive. During the information session, questions will be answered about eligibility for US citizenship and Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Details about necessary documents to present during the Citizenship Drive will also be available.
