Join the North Miami Public Library for an exciting line-up of free community events celebrating Women’s History Month.  

Friday, March 9, from 6 – 8 p.m., the NoMi Library will kick-off Women’s History Month with an art exhibition and reception showcasing the work of Ana Candioti. The exhibit is titled, Mujeres De La Tierra, which translates to Earth Women. It depicts women throughout the globe in their day-to-day activities.   

Ladies of Valor Empowerment, Inc. (L.O.V.E.) and the NoMi Library will partner on Saturday, March 17 at 10 a.m. to present the “Women Lead With L.O.V.E.” panel discussion. Local female leaders representing a diverse array of career fields will discuss their paths to success, the challenges they faced on their professional journeys and the obstacles they continue to overcome.  Women of all ages are encouraged to attend. The library’s Women’s History Month Celebration will conclude with a Book Signing and Talk with Author, Daniela Jean. Jean will lead a forum discussion referencing her book, titled, Live Your Worth: How to Maximize Your Value and Optimize Your Greatness In Every Area of Your Life. This event is set for Thursday, March 29, at 6 p.m.
