THE CITY OF NORTH MIAMI AND NORTH MIAMI POLICE TO DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO LOCAL FAMILIES IMPACTED BY HURR

North Miami, FL – 9/20/2017

North Miami residents impacted by Hurricane Irma are invited to a community food distribution hosted by the City of North Miami and the North Miami Police Department (NMPD) at noon, on Thursday, Sept. 21, in the NMPD Plaza, located 700 NE 124th Street.

One-hundred North Miami households will receive donated food, personal items and household supplies at the NMPD distribution. Donations at NMPD’s distribution were made possible through a partnership between the Joshua’s Heart Foundation and Feed the Children. The collective goal is to provide support to residents who remain without basic services and provisions in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, call the North Miami Mayor and Council’s Office at 305-895-9815.
