THE CITY OF NORTH MIAMI IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MIAMI DOLPHINS SUPPORT HURRICANE MATTHEW RELIEF EFFO

North Miami, FL – 10/28/2016

Earlier this morning, Vice Mayor Alix Desulme, Councilman Philippe Bien-Aime, Elected City Clerk Michael Etienne, Esq., all of Haitian descent, along with City staff Luckar Ferdinand, Assistant Chief of Police Larry Juriga, and Police Major Annmarie Cardona boarded a plane to Haiti with the Miami Dolphins to bring much needed relief to the Haitian community.   

Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President and alumnus Nat Moore, Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs Jason Jenkins, current player Terrence Fede, and cheerleaders Amina and Jessica, also of Haitian descent, will deliver medical supplies, safe water solutions, and generators to help rebuild homes along with City staff. 

The city of North Miami has organized a special Relief Effort for the victims of Hurricane Matthew which ravaged parts of southwestern Haiti. Donated supplies will be accepted at various locations throughout the City, Monday-Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. until further notice. For more information on the City’s relief efforts, click here
