North Miami, FL – 6/30/2016

The city of North Miami’s yearlong 90th Anniversary Celebration continues at the annual Independence Day Celebration by the Bay. Everyone’s invited to commemorate our nation’s independence during the City’s 90th Anniversary year on Monday, July 4, 2016 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Record your favorite North Miami memory in the video booth or bring your children over to the Kids’ Corner sponsored by SoLē Mia Miami. There will also be a special quilt presentation by Sew’n Sew Quilters and Crochet Club. After 1250 hours of planning, researching and sewing, the City’s 90th Anniversary Quilt, which features pictures, book titles and the rich history of North Miami, will be presented and on display with the City’s Historic Art Display.

Music lovers will delight over the All Stars Band featuring Jai Rose and Jimi Rucculo performing Born in the U.S.A. by Brue Springsteen during the fireworks spectacular. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy a special evening with your family and friends celebrating our nation’s independence.  Admission to the festivities (and parking) is FREE!  Food will be available for purchase.  DJ J-Styl from 99 Jamz will be on the scene with giveaways and music!
