RECYCLE BANK PROGRAMS RETURN TO NORTH MIAMI

North Miami, FL – 10/13/2015

RecycleBank Will Help Promote Sustainability by Increasing Recycling Participation in North Miami

The city of North Miami is pleased to announce the return of RecycleBank programs for its residents. North Miami was the first community in the Southeastern United States to deploy the RecycleBank program back in 2009. RecycleBank is a rewards program that gives residents points for their everyday green actions, like bringing recyclables to the curb for pickup. Residents can redeem those points for deals and discounts from hundreds of local and national businesses. Reward points in North Miami are distributed based on the community’s recycling weight. The program is available to all single family homes in North Miami that have curbside recycling service. For more information, please visit www.northmiamifl.gov/recyclebank

HOW TO REGISTER
North Miami households that receive curbside recycling service must activate or re-activate an existing account, either online or by phone, in order to start earning reward points.  For more information and to sign up for RecycleRewards, residents can visit www.recyclebank.com or call 1.888.727.2978.

BUSINESSES CAN STILL REGISTER AS REWARD PARTNERS
If a business is interested in being a reward partner to offer great discounts and rewards to local residents who participate in the RecycleBank program, they can contact Venessa Santos-Garza, Senior Account Manager and Community Representative at vsantos-garza@recyclebank.com.
