VICE MAYOR CAROL KEYS’ CITIZENSHIP DRIVE

In Collaboration with the Haitian Lawyers Association, Florida Immigrant Coalition and Florida New Americans

Vice Mayor Carol Keys will be hosting a Citizenship Drive to help individuals eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship complete their naturalization forms.  The event will take place on Saturday, June 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gwen Margolis Community Center, 1590 NE 123 Street. Lawyers, paralegals and community leaders will help eligible applicants with their US citizenship application. Residents will receive free assistance in filling out their immigration paperwork as well as free legal advice on immigration-related issues This event is limited to North Miami residents with proof of residency. 

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED TO THE APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION (Bring Original, and 2 Copies of Each Document)

  1. $680 Money Order (Make payable to: Department of Homeland Security)
  2. Permanent Resident Card
  3. Social Security Card
  4. Two Passport pictures 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) in size
  5. Birth, marriage(s) & divorce(s) certificates
  6. If married, include divorce certificates of your current spouse
  7. Copy of Passport (picture page, and list of dates of departures & entries into the US, from the date when he/she became a permanent resident)
  8. Selective Service Card (males only)
  9. If applicant has been arrested, must provide all Arrest (Police) Records; Charging Documents; & Final Disposition (State of Florida and/or any other state where applicant has lived)
