LIBRARY UNVEILS NEW TECHNOLOGY, KICKS OFF SUMMER READING PROGRAM

North Miami, FL - May 22, 2012 - The North Miami Public Library is celebrating the installation of 24 new public access computers and public Wi-Fi access at a ribbon cutting event tomorrow evening of Wednesday, May 23rd. The improvements were funded by State Aid to Libraries and installed by the City’s Information Technology Department. The event will also kickoff the summer reading program which features programs and prizes for children, teens and adults.

The public is invited to enjoy the celebration, which begins at 6 pm. Readers of all ages can sign up for the summer reading program to earn the chance to win an iPad or Kindle Fire at the end of the summer.
