North Miami’s University Relations Board Hosts Annual Commemorative Event

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dreams live on at a Candlelight Vigil hosted in his honor annually by the City of North Miami’s University Relations Board on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 6 p.m.

The community is invited to attend the event, which will be held in the MOCA Plaza, located at 770 NE 125 Street.  The event will feature special presentations to honor the work and vision of Dr. King through spoken word, song and dance performances by students from our local schools, including colleges and universities. The event will culminate in an illumination ceremony followed by a moment of silence.
