Personal
Born in Saint-Louis-du-Nord, Haiti, Dr. Joseph completed his elementary and secondary studies in his native town. He relocated to Port-au-Prince, to pursue his undergraduate education. In 1979, Dr. Joseph and his family left Haiti to settle in Miami, Florida. Upon arrival to the United States, Dr. Joseph overcame his deficiencies with the English language while simultaneously pursing a diploma in Laboratory Technology

Dr. Joseph began employment as a Laboratory Technology Specialist with the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital (UM/JMH) and continued to work towards his dream of becoming a doctor by continuing his education.
