North Miami Public Library - Programs

North Miami Library's 2011 Summer Reading Program

One World, Many Stories is a program designed for readers in preschool through grade 6.

Everyone is invited to participate and to sign up for any of the many fun activities we have scheduled throughout the summer. This is a noncompetitive program. Children may participate by reading to themselves, to another person or by having someone read to them.

You Are Here is our program for teens and tweens.

Individuals of all abilities are welcome to participate.  This is a noncompetitive program.  Keep track of the books you read, the number of pages read, or the amount of time spent reading.  Don’t forget to join in the cool activities we will be having throughout the summer.

"Novel Destinations" is this summer's theme for our adult summer reading program

Watch a foreign film, read an international mystery, learn travel trips, plan a dream vacation, and more. The 2011 Summer Reading Program is open to adults ages 19 and older, with program, prizes, book discussions, and special events.
