City of North Miami - Pam Solomon, Public Information Officer

Born and raised in North Miami, Pam Solomon has a great historical perspective of the City, which helps her in her role as the Public Information Officer. “I have a tremendous amount of pride for North Miami,” she explains, “in addition to myself, my Dad was raised in North Miami and is also a graduate of North Miami Senior High…the spirit I have for this community carries over into my work.”

Pam has worked for the City of North Miami since 1989. She began with the Parks and Recreation Department and worked her way up to an administrator while attending college locally. Pam graduated from Florida International University (1993) with a BA in International Relations and from Barry University (1997) with her Master’s degree in Communication.
