Parks & Recreation - Parks
The
City of North Miami Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide
range of park facilities for varied activities throughout the City:
Parks with Ball Fields & Courts, Scenic
& Nature Parks, Parks with Tot-lots &
more and Other Parks. Some of the many activities
that the community can enjoy at the parks are basketball, football,
soccer, softball, in-line hockey, roller skating, racquetball, tennis
and tot lot playgrounds and picnic pavilions.
The North Miami Athletic Stadium is now available for rentals.

The North Miami Athletic
Stadium
The North Miami Athletics Stadium provides a lighted football
field with bleacher areas and two concession stands. Ideal
for large scale events, concerts and sporting events. Ideally
located in the FIU and Biscayne Landings vicinity east of
Biscayne Boulevard.

Pepper Park
Pepper Park boasts twelve tennis courts along with two official
little league baseball fields, a full size baseball/soccer/football
field and a tot lot with a picnic pavilion.

Ben Franklin Park
Ben Franklin Park has two soccer fields along with two basketball
courts that can be converted to downsized courts and baskets
for younger children.

The Enchanted Forest Elaine
Gordon Park
A 22-acre oasis located on North Miamis Arch Creek. Besides
the natural beauty of the oak hammocks and other scenic views,
the park offers paved walking trails, picnic tables and grills,
rental pavilions, a tot lot and a pony ride concession.

Parks Naturalist: Lola Heasley
The North Bayshore William Lehman Park
located at 12220 North Bayshore Drive. This scenic Park offers
a panoramic view of the Intercoastal Waterway as well as Miami
Beach and various islands in the bay. A wooden boardwalk that
juts into the bay with a fishing pier at the end enables people
to try to catch fish from the offshore reef. This park is
open from sunrise to sunset (Boardwalk is presently closed for reparis)
