Volunteers are a valuable resource for the North Miami Public Library. Opportunities to volunteer are available with both the North Miami Public Library and with the Friends of the Library. High School students who need to perform community service will find the Library a great place to complete their volunteer requirements and learn at the same time. Anyone who wishes to help must complete a Library Volunteer Service Application Form which is available at the North Miami Public Library.

The Library has a meeting room, which is available for rental, on a limited basis, during regular Library hours. Programs must be open to the public, free, not for profit or sales, and complementary to the Library's educational, cultural and informational objectives.
