Mission Statement
The Mission of the City of North Miami is to enhance the quality of life, environment, and safety for citizens, businesses, customers, visitors and employees in an atmosphere of courtesy, integrity, quality and fiscally responsible service.

The City of North Miami operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and Council and is responsible for implementing the policies of the City Council. The day-to-day operation of the City is the primary function of the City Manager. The City Manager is responsible for the oversight of the Administration, Community Planning and Development, Finance, Library, Parks and Recreation, Personnel, Police and Public Works Departments.

In addition to the City Manager, the City Manager's Office staff includes: Deputy City Manager, Chief of Staff, Govermental Affairs Manager, Public Information Officer, Executive Secretary and Administrative Coordinator; as well as the Risk Management Division.
