Featuring live music brought to you by NoMi Musical Nights and a spectacular firework show at sundown

Food available for purchase. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with music, entertainment and spectacular fireworks over Biscayne Bay! The event will take place rain or shine. No personal fireworks, coolers, or alcoholic beverages allowed.

2015 Backpack and School Supply Donation Drive

Mayor Smith Joseph continues the tradition to host a summer backpack and school supply drive to distribute to North Miami students at the beginning of the next school year.

New Supplies Needed:

  • New backpacks
  • #2 pencils
  • Calculators
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Blunt scissors
  • Pencil boxes
  • Rulers
  • Glue sticks
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Wide-ruled paper
  • Composition notebooks

Cash donations made to City of North Miami are also welcome

Get in Gear Community Monthly Bike Ride

Get in Gear Community Monthly Bike Ride

MOCA Plaza, 770 NE 125 Street, North Miami

Registration: 8:00 am
Departure: 8:30 am

Commit yourself to a healthier lifestyle by participating in this 10 mile ride through North Miami! The ride is safe (where else do you get a police escort?), it’s easy (stops are made during the ride for water and restroom breaks) and it’s fun (bring your friends!).

Our mission is to encourage a healthier lifestyle through exercise and more nutritional diets.

Bring your own bike. Helmets are required for all participants ages 16 and under and encouraged for all participants.
